anatomy help

Luke, I’m still in progress of your icon, but it’s just that I don’t have much motivation to draw something entirely serious. If you want to see progress, I’ll happily send you it so far. It’s almost finished. kinda. HER EARRINGS ARE TOO COMPLICATED FOR LIFE LIKE HONESTLY WTF I CAN’T EVEN DRAW THEM

Anyways, I’m working on my anatomy. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can make this character look better? (JUST ANATOMY, PLEASE. I DON’T WANT COMMENTS ABOUT HIS DESIGN. THANKS.)

lawrence

also it’s waist up so I don’t want to hear any comments about fullbodies yet :^)

p.s. don’t be an ass kisser. srs. be honest here.

  1. her earrings?!
    they look simple tbh
And the only extremely small tip I can give you is that I would draw his neck a bit wider and his shoulders at a more vertical slope so that he doesn’t look like he’s in an uncomfortable position like standing in a crowded bus.

  2. -since you’re drawing a male, the waist should be a bit “larger”?? pretty hard to explain.
uhh,, that’s all, sorry! maybe tweak the nose a bit?? and give him a bit more expression?!
on another side note, the design is nice,,
and you actually drew the shoulders pretty well here, unlike MOST artists,,

  3. tbh, you’re anatomy from waist up is not that bad. I think you can move the nose and mouth a tad bit higher. The end of the nose should be the halfway point between the middle of the eye and the chin. It’s not that obvious, but it’s just a tad bit low. From there, the mouth should be a little higher than the halfway point between the end of the nose to the chin. i think the arms a tad on the thin side though? but i don’t think it’s that big a problem tbh.

  4. Bigger waist, shoulders are at different heights, move face to center of body and adjust the eyes and nose to be more symmetrical
But it looks fine really, only could make those suggestions after looking closely
Also if this is on sai you can use the flip button to see if it looks ok or not
